The Robert Schumann House considers itself to be a research centre and educational institution as well as an authentic site to experience Schumann’s music and life. The museum wants to enable an encounter with the composer’s work and to encourage a cultural exchange. With guided tours, lectures, concerts and an educational programme the Robert Schumann House aims to pave the way for an individual access to the music of the romantic composer Robert Schumann. Children, teenagers and adults have the opportunity to discover the museum as a valuable contribution to their cultural education.
